With a rustic but elegant aesthetic, Rainbow Ranch Lodge is located directly on the Gallatin River, with an incredible backdrop of the Rocky Mountains and Gallatin National Forest. A total of 21 guestrooms offers a serene experience, with multiple room configurations available. All rooms boast beautiful views, whether located on the stocked Trout Pond or the rushing Gallatin River. Enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine on the Adirondack chairs on your walk-out porch under Montana's Big Sky. Many of our guestrooms also feature a river rock wood-burning fireplace. Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided to all on-site guests, as well as satellite TV. A complimentary hot breakfast is included in the room rate for each morning of your stay. Our on-site fine dining restaurant features a rotating menu highlighted by local and seasonal products. We are proud to support local Montana farms and ranches. Rainbow Ranch Lodge is open year-round and hosts beautiful indoor and outdoor events every month of the year. Whitewater rafting, zip lining, horseback riding, mountain-biking, fly-fishing, snowmobiling, dog-sledding, hiking, and exploring Yellowstone National Park are just a few of the activities you can take advantage of in the Big Sky area. We are 40 miles south of Bozeman, 40 miles north of the West Yellowstone National Park entrance, and only a 20-minute drive from the world-renowned Big Sky Resort, which offers spectacular skiing and snowboarding. No matter what time of year you are in Big Sky, you will find picturesque scenery and options for both adventure and relaxation.

Liked: We’ve been before and it seems run down
Disliked: Room seemed run down… appliances not plugged in, window shades broken, shower not functioning correctly, breakfast bar not warm

I highly recommend this property!

Liked: This property is a fabulous place! We only stayed one day here but can not wait to visit it again very soon! The rooms were great and I loved the back porch views. Our room had a nice fireplace inside and was a great added feature for the snow outside. The cookie delivery was darling and we can not wait to go back and fish and hike the property!

Such a relaxing night after...

Liked: The staff was phenomenal. We arrived late after the desk representative was gone and booked late. The other staff helped us get checked in and were very nice and helpful. We had driven many miles to find a place to stay and this was an amazing stay when we were stressed out from driving to find a place! Will be back again!!
