The staff in kitchen clearly...

Liked: Lovely location. Plenty of parking. Very good restaurant
Disliked: the layout of the bar/lounge area not very comfortable and the bar drinks and cocktails were very expensive for what they were.

Style over substance.

Liked: We received a warm welcome. Reception area and bar area, especially we’re not as cozy as one would expect at Christmas. Slightly lacking atmosphere.
Disliked: no cozy lounge or open fire so no real focal point for the relaxation area. We ate in the restaurant and were expecting a very high standard of cuisine. Unfortunately, the meal was definitely a case of style over substance. The service was good but the food was bland or over salted. Too cheffing errors for a supposed five star dining experience.Breakfast was substantial, but again poorly executed. Unfortunately, for a five star establishment, this does not compare to others.
