Disliked: My colleague and I asked for our rooms at 1.15. We had arrived by train and needed to freshen up to go straight out to a meeting. We also didnt want to carry our cases around. We were given a single room but it was not really helpful and there was a bit of defensive attitude at reception with the standard 3pm room availability.Breakfast at 9.15 am had to wait for half of dishes thathad been used up and not additional prepared, resulting in waiting and cold breakfast. Table availability was poor as they were not cleaned straight after people leaving. Had to find my own knives and forks. Had to find restaurant staff not many about.

Enjoyable

Disliked: The free toiletries in the bathroom needed replenishment as the hand cream and shower gel were almost empty. When I mentioned this on check out I was told I could have asked for some shower gel but it's a little late when you are already in the shower. Usually I take my own but didn't on this occasion. I would expect the room to be fully serviced prior to new visitors checking in.Also think more lifts would help when trying to check out, took three attempts to get into a lift. Was met with a very rude French person who refused to move diwn the lift to allow us to get in. This is not your fault but lifts are small in comparison to the size if hotel.
