Hotel was nice; very clean; very nice staff!

Liked: The best was it was very clean.
Disliked: Chlorine smell was super strong.

Comfortable; quiet; affordable; clean; free WiFi; close to everything. Although I was misled in believing this place was in KY. Not IN. You should not call it "Louisville North". It's Clarksville, IN. Call it that! We got lost because I just knew this place was in Louisville, KY. When I finally just let my GPS do it's thing, we were fine. We had a great time, and a comfortable stay.

Liked: A short cab ride away from everything in downtown Louisville.
Disliked: We could walk right outside from the second floor, but had to go downstairs to get back in and ride an elevator back up. The room key only worked on the ground floor entrance. The girl who checked us in should have better things to say about the city of Louisville and the Phoenix Hill Tavern. She said they pat everyone down looking for guns because Louisville is a bad place. This was totally false - no pat down. Felt totally safe waiting outside for a cab. I'm sure this young lady was only repeating what she had heard.

Read a review before reserving about a strong cleaning supply smell in the room and we found it to be like that in the room we got. Not a bad hotel but my wife could barely stand the smell. Would probably get a different hotel next time only because of that.

Liked: Clean; comfortable beds; nice bathroom.
Disliked: Very strong cleaning product smell.

The hotel had a very interesting and beautiful layout, right on the lake with a nice view from the room. Clean and up-to-date, bed was comfy. Very convenient from interstate.

Liked: Hotel bar was nice and the food was good. Pool was pretty although I didn't swim in it. Heater and air worked fantastic in the room.
Disliked: Rooms are run down and smelled faintly of smoke. Sheets were definitely in need of replacement although clean.

Not again with my family....

Liked: Spacious on the amenities. Cool pool.
Disliked: Restaurant open to 10pm, but closed at 9pm regardless. Not cool. I landed on it…Rooms not really clean. Heating worked only on full.

Disliked: Dirty, sketchy people all throughout didn’t feel safe. Room was dirty and looking at reviews made me anxious whole time.
