Liked: Room was great. Location was good
Disliked: Parking was limited. Distance from the parking lot to the room in the other building was quite far.

Liked: We have been here several times over the years, it is our favorite winter place to sneak away to.

Very nice hotel but restaurant...

Liked: My room was comfortable and clean but it was located over some type of motor that would kick on and off occasionally. It did not disturb my sleep but it was somewhat annoying when I was awake.
Disliked: I was disappointed in the restaurant's food. The menu is excellent, including the wine list. The servers are excellent. I ate dinner twice and breakfast once. Breakfast was good. First night dinner was a wonderful pork chop. The accompanying garlic mashed potatoes were almost cold and the asparagus overcooked. The second night dinner was their fish special. I ordered broiled which was dry, French fries tasted like they were 3 days old and so did the Cole slaw.

Initially luxurious- but unappealing details

Liked: I liked the overall vibe of the location, it initially felt more on the luxurious end of hotels in the area. I also loved the live music and community feel with the restaurant, bar and lounge area downstairs. I also liked the staff I had experiences with, they were very friendly and helpful, which made the experience better!
Disliked: The main problem for me was the VERY firm bed, it made us have less than ideal sleeping and overall comfortable experiences, and I even prefer a firm bed. I will also say that the smaller details of the hotel weren't in line with the initial luxurious feeling, such as our janky door and the visible pipes and wiring on the ceiling in the hallways. I also was told by a front desk staff that the breakfast could be ordered by phone and delivered to our room which wasn't correct, we did have to go down and pick it up as a to-go order.
