Good location, terrible room and...
Liked: The location was good and the hotel lobby was nice.
Disliked: The room was tiny, the bed mattress was hard and only. 1 pillow per side was given. This meant we had a terrible sleep. The price was c£270, I’d expect to have a better sleep after paying that much money.

Room 226, where we were...
Liked: Great location.
Disliked: The first room smelled like sewage. We had to request to be moved on the second day. There is something wrong with the plumbing in the bathroom and the staff must be aware and put us there anyway.

Superb location, helpful concierge, quiet...
Liked: Location is fantastic. Christmas decorations great and appealing entrance lobby.
Disliked: On arrival our twin room wasn’t available and it was uncomfortable persisting to ask for a room where my friend and I did not share a bed. After a little wait the staff did find us a twin room which we were grateful for. The room is very small for the price paid. Some of the wood furnishings are a little tired and need a refresh. The room, albeit small was quiet and clean despite being in such a great central location. The biggest disappointment was breakfast which felt below par for the standard of the hotel. The service was regrettably poor. We were not offered tea or coffee and had to walk across the restaurant twice to ask for someone to bring tea. This was “sloshed” into a tea cup. No milk was provided and the server disappeared again (notably there were only two other tables occupied so not busy). Again, we had to walk across the restaurant to ask if would be possible to have some milk. Unfortunately the breakfast was our last meeting with staff at the hotel and this leaves a poor impression. However, I must say the concierge was excellent, very helpful, courteous and welcoming as were members of the check-in team. The hotel is superbly located near the Dominion Theatre and only 10 mins walk to Covent Garden, but at this price point we would expect basic service at breakfast. I believe the Radisson Blu brand should aim higher than this in terms of a service standard and this let the hotel down at this price point. I am sure that Radisson will take a look at this and ensure their usual high standards are met for future visitors.

Overpriced. Needs improvements
Liked: Breakfast food was very tasty. All staff very helpful and friendly.
Disliked: In room 307 mattress wasn’t comfortable. The window frames are very old and don’t close properly so the room was cold. Above the breakfast buffet the metal extractor filters were thick with dust, needs a deep clean
