Nice hotel for a good...

Liked: Nice, big hotel. Everything is clean. The room is big and the bathroom is nice. Right by the train and bus station and close to attractions.
Disliked: The building is quite old, I sometimes had trouble sleeping through the air conditioner's periodic noises. The room was large but the bed was disproportionately small

Liked: Staff: well-trained, professional, accommodating.
Disliked: Absence of a small fridge in the room. I do not consume alcohol and there was no place to store milk.

Disappointed for the first time

Liked: I am a frequent and usually happy guest - this time maybe bad luck. Great location. Usually, nice rooms. Good breakfast. Usually, friendly staff.
Disliked: (1) Room could not be locked from the inside. Both, lock and latch were defect. Staff was trying to help right away but couldn't really fix it. We felt quite uncomfortable during the night.(2) Although we were told the locks will be fixed the next day, nothing happened until we checked out. No follow-up from the staff. (3) Lots of mold around the bathtub.(4) My well in advance placed kind request to get a room away from the elevators due to being a light sleeper was not considered. I got a room right behind the elevators. Staff was not supportive let alone in any way apologetic that they have missed my message. Instead, I was lectured that I have to mention requests at the front desk during check in. So apparently, sending a message via Booking.com weeks in advance does not count. Better give the front desk a call if your request is not just a nice to have. Got no proper sleep.

Liked: It was convenient
Disliked: To be told do not open the mini bar an alarm will set you will be charged got it - no cups etc - found out when we left the were where the fridge was and told not to open, just an empty jug to get tap water. The bath was dangerous

Exceptional
