Liked: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Lovely stay ,grateful to have been gifted a surprise upgrade on my second booking because of little confusion on previous! Nice quiet area,very friendly and efficient staff,breakfast area has an array to choose from,food is outstanding,most comfortable bed and pillows,Overall a clean ,comfortable and quiet hotel and location to city is perfect ❤️

Exceptional

Lovely staff and location but...

Liked: -The staff were really nice, very friendly and helpful when we checked in and during our stay.-The bedroom was very comfortable and clean-The Brasserie menu had lots of good options and the cocktails were really good!-Location was really good if you want to be out of the city but still close to the train to get into the city centre
Disliked: -The biggest issue for us was that the coffee dock was not open at all for the two days during our stay, It was advertised online as being open during the weekend and was something we wanted to use as we didn't include breakfast and just wanted something small in the mornings like coffee and a pastry.-The bathrooms at reception and the common area tables could have been cleaned better (there were some tables which were dirty from the evening before)

Liked: Bed was comfy. Great selection for breakfast
Disliked: Food in restaurant expensive for small portions so had to eat elsewhere. Staff not overly welcoming. Bar closing at 11.30 is ridiculous and no residents bar or pub close by so in bed early every night

Liked: It had a pool and overall the room was comfortable
Disliked: The shower area in swimming pool ceiling had black mould everywhere The toilet in bedroom could have done with some harpic The hot breakfast was underwhelming and the sausages tasted of old used oil

Brilliant

Liked: The location was fantastic. Lovely hotel. Near all major attractions in Cork. Staff were lovely. Rooms were spacious and bed was so comfy. Highly recommend. The pool was brilliant too.
