Never stay here again …..
Disliked: We stay in premium room 528 . Room was very average for allegedly being premium room and very much overpriced . The walk in shower we noticed had holes in screen where another closing door once was . Which meant when taking shower water was escaping all over shower room floor . We had to use towels and one of dressing gowns supplied to stop water from going all over shower room floor . If we had not used these items to stop water escaping this would have been a safety issue regarding slip hazard . Very bad design and overall very disappointing for money paid for premium room .

Liked: I’ve stayed here many a time before the renovation. The bar area is sublime and location perfect for a night out in town.
Disliked: Firstly upon arrival there was a huge queue to check in at 3. Staff seemed to take an exceptionally long time to check people in and when the queue got so large they then took those from the back of the queue to the front to form three separate queues which meant we had to wait even longer. Not impressed. Finally, we were given a special access room when I didn’t request it. Normally you pay less for taking this room. The toilet was so low down for someone who doesn’t require special access and the big shower curtain wet room came with a stench. I was not happy but as we weren’t spending much time in the room, I didn’t complain. On returning to the room at night, we tried to watch tv. It wasn’t working and we called reception. Matthew was the nicest thing about our stay. He came to the room and reset the tv while making us feel very comfortable. Lovely man. The tv in the morning however didn’t work again. Not what I would expect for a hotel of this kind with the above average price tag. Extremely disappointed.

Lovely hotel, lovely breakfast, lovely...
Liked: Large comfortable room. Great sound proofing - didn’t hear any noise from other guests and hotel was very busy. Fantastic breakfast. All staff very helpful and friendly.
