Nice sized room, very tidy...
Liked: Room was absolutely amazing, bathroom was excellent, view from window was great, and I felt I got what I paid for. I paid extra for some rose petals and for something nice to be left in the room for my girlfriend and she was very impressed.

Liked: Staff are amazing. Beautiful hotel lovely bar and restaurant too.
Disliked: Toilet didn't work right and TV didn't work but we weren't in room that much so didn't report it until checkout.

Liked: The decor was modern and clean. Our check in and check out process with Irene was quick, smooth and pleasant. The location is central and absolutely ideal for attending events at the Hydro and the Barrowlands. Having the NCP car park just around the corner and the discounted rate available with the hotel was an added bonus.
Disliked: The duvet was too small for the bed - it was longer than it was wide and barely reached both sides of the bed even when empty.We waited in a short queue for breakfast on Sunday morning. There was no member of staff monitoring the entrance to the breakfast room. There were, however, 3 members of staff standing just behind us, within eyesight of us, at reception and did not come to help. They were chatting with each other and not dealing with any other guests at the time. In fact, one member of staff walked past us, smiled, but did not attend to us. It was only when the couple in front of us called over and frustratedly asked for assistance that a member of staff came to attend to us.The air conditioning/heating system in the room was effective and good at maintaining a temperature, but was loud at all times.The wardrobe doors in our room (557) were loose at the hinges.
