Staff were very friendly and helpful; hotel is situated in walking distance of shops and theatres. We had a really enjoyable stay and will definitely stay there again.
Liked: Lovely hotel.

Great hotel!
Liked: Perfect location for a weekend trip to stay centrally - great transport links and a range of restaurants and bars. Not my first time here, and I will come back!
Disliked: My window was half-blocked (bottom half) by some kind of a weird wall. Not a big deal though, I did not need to have a great view. They also added a nice plant/tree in front of the wall to make it look better. :)

Comfy room, great location
Liked: Location of hotel was great for Tube, local restaurants and British Museum. Appreciated being able to store our luggage before and after check in/out. Liked that we could help ourselves to fruit or biscuits in reception. The bed was very comfy. Had a meal in the restaurant - very tasty food.
Disliked: The milk for in-house drinks was in sachets that were hard to open and not easy to squirt into your drink. had to mop up spillages several times. There were also too few of them. Reception kindly had more sent to our room. The coffee machine was a little tricky to use. I filled the reserve with water but had not properly clicked it into place so it did not work fully - being filled before occupation would have avoided this issue. Tap in wash basin was not easy to use - not logical how you get hot vs cold, easy to leave on and also easy to turn too high and get splashed. Basin and tap looked nice but impractical.

Good
Liked: Breakfast was good, plenty of choices and staff were nice.Lovely ambience. Lovely touches life bubbly on arrival, flavoured water in reception. Lovely touches the main area lighting & design features. Incredibly conveniently located.
Disliked: For breakfast they were understaffed I think, which meant our family group were in different areas for breakfast. Latte was awful. The room itself, even though we upgraded from superior to premium, was drab and dull and badly in need of a refresh. Corners of the bed were worn and lighting just ceiling spots no bedside lights. Roman blinds were up, giving no privacy, or down giving no natural light. Sadly this would put me off staying there again.
