Great location, food and wine....

Liked: Amazing location, the architecture of the building was extraordinary. The shower in the bathroom was wonderful, great pressure. Room size was good given we were there for a week. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The staff were very pleasant. I had an excellent massage from Amy. The food and wine were lovely.
Disliked: The room wasn’t vacuumed for Five days ( I had to ask housekeeping to do it )The thermal spa was somewhat tired and in need of maintenance.A complementary small bottle of water for each guest daily would be a suggestion as I have experienced this elsewhere and as an hotelier myself, is something we provide for our guests.Just a little simple acknowledgement to mark the fact that it was Christmas Day could have been an added touch, something inexpensive just to add to the festive experience. ( eg Chocolate on the pillow etc)

Divine pool and very comfortable...

Liked: The pool is the highlight at Cape Shank, followed by the delicious breakfast. The whole place is so comfortable and peaceful.,
Disliked: There was no option for making real coffee and I don't think we could get room service to the ocean view rooms. The description on booking.com didn't make it very clear that the Ocean View rooms are so far away from the main building.
