Liked: The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The family room was spacious and well equipped.
Disliked: The heating was on all night, and the room was very warm (in a mild November).

A very nice hotel but...

Liked: Very spacious and comfortable reception areas and bar. Helpful and friendly staff. We attended a 100th birthday party and the food and catering was exceptional. Plenty of on-site parking.
Disliked: The worst thing was the layout of the bedroom. The bathroom pointed directly at a ground floor window and was only partially covered by a frosted glass door. A really bad bit of planning! The shower tiles were a bit mouldy. The shower controls were hard to use with soapy hands. Apart from this, there wasn't much else to fault.

Liked: Spacious and comfortable mini suite for families with two bedrooms. Excellent food at the large group meal I attended. Friendly staff. Plenty of free parking. Good breakfast. Pretty garden and grounds surrounding the hotel.
Disliked: Some areas of the hotel are looking a little tired in terms of decor.
