Faulty Towers found in Quorn

Liked: The bed was comfortable.The location was good for Leicester and road access.
Disliked: The hotel was freezing cold.There was no dinner service or lounge area open to sit and relax. After an eight hour drive this was unacceptable. I had to go out again and hunt for a take away restaurant.The room was a last minute booking so I didn't receive the email advising this.The hotel clearly should not be taking bookings.The room was thick with dust and the carpet was absolutely filthy, covered in hairs and 'bits'. The lift was revolting with marks all over the stainless steel and again very dirty.The poor girl on reception on arrival was constantly apologetic with both me and the other guests.There were no tea spoons and only one set-off towels in the room.We were accommodated in a separate building/conference type block that was dated and tired. This room was meant to be an executive....it looked nothing like the pictures on the Web site.Furniture was dated and damaged.Breakfast was a total fiasco.Told it was 'buffet style this morning'
