Great place to recharge the...

Liked: Amazing place, secluded and charming with its remoteness from civilization. Sarah is a wonderful host and she made our stay feel as if we were coming back to some place we already know. The hot tub under the starry sky makes the evening rest magical, the sound of the creek that flows by wonderfully lulls the guests to sleep, and the fresh morning air makes you want to stay forever.

Liked: Breakfast was incredible, and our host was absolutely lovely. I'd go back just for her! Also the location is great if you're looking to be immersed in the wilderness and listen to the many sounds of the forest. Highly recommended!
Disliked: Nothing about the property, really. There was a log blocking the road towards the lodge, as we were travelling at the end of winter and it was heavily raining/snowing. Driving might be a bit more challenging from October to Apri, but this is really more a heads-up for tourists and doesn't have anything to do with the place.

Liked: Very nice remote location. Unusual setting, friendly service, Great breakfast. Plan ahead and bring food, as dinner options are very limited and next restaurants are a long drive away. Don't get confused by the drive. It takes much longer from Kernville than expected (30-40min drive if you obey speed limits)
Disliked: Rooms are basic.
