Liked: The room was so clean and comfortable with extras like a fridge and additional space for storage , compostable tooth brushes and razor, as well as delicious cookies. The breakfast was sublime !! A huge variety of continental AND a cooked brekky as Part of the price. Use of washing machine and dryer all complementary!! Very friendly and hospitable staff. Highly recommend.

Expensively disappointing

Liked: The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with choices to suit all tastes.The view was exceptional. However our room was small with only one not very comfortable chair and the bathroom was extremely cramped.Car parking was inadequate and very awkward. We thought we paid a lot for small return.Be aware that the surrounding roads are extremely steep and could pose real problems for less mobile visitors.

Lovely place to stay in...

Liked: Awesome, awesome BnB. Staff was exceptional, breakfast was first rate, views exceptional. Location is on the hill, so up from town. But not bad. My wife and I, both 60+, went up and down at least 2-3 times a day. If you don’t like waking hills, an uber or taxi ride is only 2-3 minutes and easy to get. Place was very comfortable and classy. Entire property was extremely well cared for and clean. Such a pleasure, nothing to disappoint!

Liked: Nothing really!
Disliked: Bathroom antiquated…nowhere to put anything…having a shower was difficult! The curtain really poor! Worst of all we could hear everything from next door…paper thin walls …infact it was so bad we could hear someone on the toilet!!!! We were told off for coming down to breakfast at 9.25 am, saying the kitchen was about to close down! What an introduction to my first morning! Had to keep asking for things…no bowls, no milk! Such a disappointment…we couldn’t wait to leave!

Liked: This was such a lovely place to stay while we were here in Queenstown. Extremely comfortable and clean with great views. Thank you to Marianne who made us very welcome and thank you to the kitchen staff who put on a delicious breakfast spread each morning. Would definitely stay again.

Liked: Nice room, good breakfast. The manager/owner showed us round when we arrived - he was super friendly and passionate. The lady in charge of breakfast in the mornings was super friendly and attentive.
