A very enjoyable restful stay

Liked: Perfect location and such friendly staff. We were treated to a room upgrade as our Silver Wedding Anniversary which was a lovely surprise. A very spacious room with the lovely finishing touches and card was appreciated. A nice atmosphere for our nightcap in the bar both evenings and a very tasty breakfast both days. Easy to walk to the Gunwharf and Dockyard areas and just around the corner from the various restaurants of Southsea.
Disliked: My only small quibble would be that there was no sound for BBC1 which we reported but not resolved. No big deal but another guest also had the same problem so worth mentioning it as others might need it. The room was lovely and hot but would have appreciated being able to turn down the temperature overnight. The dial on the radiator was broken. Extremely uncomfortable overnight due to the heat.

My favourite hotel in Southsea.

Liked: I've stayed at Queen's Hotel a number of times and have always enjoyed it. It's well-staffed, elegant decor and a great location. The room this last time was particularly lovely.
Disliked: The only thing that could have been better was a longer stay.

Good hotel for short break

Liked: Good location for Southsea and attractions. Staff were attentive and comfortable bar area.I only had a dinner off the bar menu which was good. I can’t comment on the breakfast as didn’t have that.
Disliked: Must confess my room was a lot smaller than I was expecting. It was perfectly clean but could do with some modernisation.
