Perfect location comfy friendly hotel

Liked: Lady on reception was super friendly - location perfect for Brighton centre - good value for money and a lovely varied breakfast - didn’t use the Spa but would be a really good extra. Lots of places to eat right by the pier and sea.
Disliked: Was a bit noisy at night but was fine just people enjoying themselves

Needs some attention

Liked: The location and helpful staff
Disliked: Room was cold, noisy and no blinds at windows so completely overlooked, not helped by scaffolding being up outside window on building directly opposite

Very good

Liked: If you read the reviews and look at the photos you'll see that it's not the most luxurious hotel and the furnishings are a little tired. However, we had a spotlessly clean and warm room with a very comfortable bed and a good hospitality tray and a fabulous sea view. The staff could not have been nicer, especially on the reception desk. The breakfast was a decent buffet and the cooked food was hot. Location wise it's spot on for what Brighton has to offer.
Disliked: Yes, it's a bit old fashioned but if it was refurbished and brand spanking new you'd be paying a lot more!

Disliked: Room could do with a bit of painting / updating shower didn’t have much pressure and maybe new carpet other than that rooms were brilliant other than that

Queens Hotel and Spa made...

Liked: The breakfast was fabulous. There was so much choice. Full English, Continental, or a whatever you fancy mash-up! You could even order freshly cooked pancakes and maple syrup! Yum!The room was bigger than I imagined, with sumptuous beds. There was ample tea/coffee facilities, lots of wardrobe space and drawers for our clothing. The sea view was amazing, made more so by the gorgeous weather we were lucky to have. The staff were attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. (Cost of local buses, nearest stops, where to visit!)Did not try the gym and spa included in the room fee, but if the room and breakfast were an indication, I suspect the gym etc would be amazing.Location was ideal for access to the beach, the pier and the pavilion. The main shopping arcade was slightly further away, but not unreasonably far, and to get there one could go through the lanes. (A charming array of boutique shops situated in a myriad of little alleyways!)
