Liked: 1. Location and views of Diamond Head2. Towel and beach chair use without the constant checking in and out like at other hotels. You trust us!3. Free water bottles and easily accessible filling stations throughout the hotel. 4. Window coverings - offered privacy and partial or full light blocking. 5. Friendly staff
Disliked: Elevators were too slow. Late night street noise a few nights. Cleaning service often happened very late in the day and they rarely left face clothes. None of these are deal breakers, just things that were a bit annoying. They can’t control outdoor noise.

Liked: Great location. Beach chairs, towels, pool. Good coffee bar, good restaurant with a terrific view of diamond head.
Disliked: Rooms were pretty basic but you don’t need to spend much time in them.

Beautiful hotel with the Aloha...

Liked: Location is perfect for the beach, Diamond Head,, the Zoo, Honolulu finish and Getting in and out of Honolulu with our rental car without needing to drive downtown. The Deck restaurant is a great place to eat, meet with friends.I really enjoyed the open air lobby, it was very comfortable and I spent time there with friends having coffee or just enjoying the evening breeze. The staff in this hotel from the front desk, concierge, garage and hotel housekeeping are most professional and helpful staff. I have worked with during any stay in Hawaii.The hotel offers free beach chairs, and the towels are in the downstairs where you can pick them up without having to ask. I use valet service for my vehicle. The guys were very fast and helpful. Unlike some of the hotels in Honolulu they have bell service, which was great
Disliked: I paid for a room with a view of diamond head, which I received. It was great except I was on the fourth floor, and this was level with the atrium ceiling and the deck and the pool were in front of the window. I would’ve preferred a room that was several floors up because I like to sit on the lanai without having to look at people or having them look at me.The hotel provides a hot water kettle, which I’m assuming is for tea. I asked if they had coffee makers available and they said no. They do have a small refrigerator but no microwave.
