Liked: Very nice size room in main lodge; king Bed/Jacuzzi/Fireplace. Excellent private deck and view of the lake. Good soap/body wash, etc. Nice Fridge and kitchenette. Brand new carpeting is always a bonus! Good selection of K-Cups in the room!Sauna area was VERY NICE! Hot Tub, too!!!! Game Room is cute; however, for the price you are paying for lodging ~ the games could be priced better; $1.25 for ONE round of SkeeBall is ridiculous.
Disliked: The Vibe in the Lodge was RIDICULOUSLY loud and offensive; the group of "Boys" that took over the Bar Area on Thurs, Jan. 30 5:45 pm ~ I am SO not a prude and I party with the best of them; but these "Boys" were spewing the F'in Heimer every other word; seriously? Get over yourselves ~ we had EVERY intention of participating in the Meat Raffle; but oh HELL NO with these idiots screaming at the top of their lungs. Train your Bartenders to ask them to settle down; it's not Rocket Science; oh and by the way .... If I am sitting at the bar; I want my Draft Beer in a COLD, PINT GLASS; not some freakin' Plastic Cup like a Toddler. And NO HAPPY HOUR Offerings? On a THURSDAY Afternoon; in the Winter?? Really?The "changing room" bathroom area in the Hot Tub/Pool area was DISGUSTING ..... the shower curtain was lying on the floor for two full days; meaning NOT ONE STAFF person entered there? Ewwwwwwww ~

Home feel!

Liked: Beautiful Cabin feel and view of Gull Lake! The activity area with outdoor hot tub/pool was refreshing!

Our stay was very nice...

Liked: The 3 bedroom woodsmoke cabin was really nice, very modern with all amenities one could want.
Disliked: We were given a cabin directly across the street from new construction, which we weren’t told about. This was a Thanksgiving retreat and the noise of the construction was loud. Certainly not ideal for a peaceful retreat. The staff should have told us and at least given us the option of other accommodations if available. For the price this was very disappointing. Also, none of the numerous tvs could not access regular channels. We called and were told to follow the directions in the resort packet. Of course we did this but to no avail. The following day we again complained. Staff was sent over and apparently all the tvs needed updating which we wouldn’t have been able to do. Even after the updating the main tv could only be controlled standing and pointing the remote to the side and back of tv.Certainly needs attention.

Amazing!

Liked: The view was spectacular! Bed was comfortable, hotel was quiet, and we loved the jacuzzi tub after a bitter cold night.
Disliked: A little tough to regulate room temp, but not a huge deal.

Liked: Rooms were recently redone. TV was great. The pool, spa sauna, wonderful. Good food at restaurant and it was nice to have live music.
Disliked: We were in room 101 The room directly above us was really loud. People running around (i think there were small children). This continued for over an hour.
