This hotel received an average rating because it is need of renovations. The wall paper was peeling in the bathroom. The rug had seen better days, and there was a small hole in the upholstery on the sofa. But, the layout of the hotel room was great. There was a small sitting area with a sofa, chair, desk, and TV. Then the bedroom was next with a door between the two rooms. There was another (smaller) TV in the bedroom. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast that was included was a full american breakfast cooked by a very nice older gentleman. The breakfast made the cost of the room a bargain. Would I stay again, yes! This was $50 cheaper than the hotel I usually stay. I hope renovations are planned in the near future. That would make this my hotel on every trip to Norfolk.

Liked: The property was in a great place and quiet.
Disliked: My bathroom could’ve been cleaner.

It was a little overpriced...

Liked: Booked because it advertise having an airport shuttle. They didn't have one so had to pay for an Uber to get there. Could have booked a place for less without shuttle.
Disliked: Better breakfast, actual ice machines, (didn't have any)

Liked: location, bed was good, outside was clean.
Disliked: charging for pet. bathroom mildew.
