Quality Inn

Everything was fine. We had a low price so we can't be too picky. It was just fine.

Liked: Relatively clean; just old.
Disliked: Just an older hotel.

It's cheaper than most but...

Liked: The room was comfortable once you got in and turned the ac on. I mightve been logging on wrong but I think you have to pay for wifi.
Disliked: This hotel does not have an elevator and the pool was hot and was a little green looking.

Liked: Location and the front desk staff. Breakfast was OK, could be better.
Disliked: Uncleanlyness. Foul smell, dirty floor, stains on walls and floors. Sticky floor, walls, tables.

Disliked: Both rooms they tried to give us were not clean. The beds has stains on the mattress, sheets, and blankets. They wouldn't even give us bedding without stains.

Disliked: Front desk staff trying to charge me again after I already paid. Huge moldy wet tile in ceiling of bathroom. Bed hard as a rock.

Filthy

Disliked: Let me start by saying, I realize that not being from the area, I could/ should have done a bit more research on location, etc. The location of this inn is not in the best part of town, whatever, that's fine - but that does not mean basic standards of cleanliness should be neglected. I checked in with no issues and the front desk staff was very friendly and professional which is really the only positive thing I have to say. The lobby of this place was not even clean - first impressions are important when staying somewhere and this place was filthy. On the very short walk to my room I was met with the smells of mildew and marijuana (do your thing, just maybe outside?). I started to get a funny feeling when the room numbers were written on blue painters tape and there was peeling wallpaper. Immediately upon entering the room, I could tell this was very bad. The bed sheets were dirty, stained, and there were toenail clippings on the carpet between the beds. The lamp on the nightstand was all but falling over and the alarm clock was on the floor - which tells me this room wasn't serviced, or was serviced poorly. I checked out the bathroom, where I discovered the tub faucet literally hanging out of the wall. I took photos of everything, and went to the front desk to cancel my reservation. The staff was polite and did help me cancel, and almost immediately refunded my deposit which was greatly appreciated. However, for a $227 room (that is with a Genius discount), a $50 deposit and a $111 cancellation fee... this is plain crazy. Do better. I was able to book a clean room, in a better part of town at The Drury for only $40 more. The photos displayed on Booking.com are outdated, this place looks nothing like the photos - do not be deceived.I will also be disputing the cancellation fee - $111 for a room that was not cleaned, that was not utilized for more than 5 minutes by myself, is uncalled for.

Liked: The location was right by the highway so it’s convenient.
Disliked: The halls were hot, it took the room hours to cool down and the shower was raggedy. The pool felt slimy, overall it was run down.
