weekend away with friends

Liked: Room was nice and quite large, very close to the restaurant we had booked for dinner. Staff were great. Having drinks available downstairs in the venue or just out of the venue was good. Secure parking was also very good.
Disliked: Our room was good with a kitchen, our friends had a pretty standard room but paid the same amount which didn't seem fair.I suppose it was on us to check if there was live music, we may not have booked had we known there was that and a disco or other downstairs. Though of the 3 couples, only 2 could hear the music, it wasn't overly loud, just present as a thumping. In the photos we thought there was a sitting area where we could all sit to chat, we didn't realise it was part of the bar area, not a major issue, just something we didn't realise.

We enjoyed our one night...

Liked: We went out for breakfast as it was a cold day- went somewhere warmer
Disliked: It was all good - just didn’t have any privacy in bathroom

Liked: Location is great, comfortable bed.
Disliked: Didn’t like the room I was in older and was more for disabled people eg shower. I stayed on the other side the time before and I loved it. Less noise. I was in room 5 this time.
