Great location to stay at for any event in the Discovery Park. Quick and easy walk over to the park, no parking issues.

Liked: The room was clean and comfortable.

Liked: The room was clean, the beds comfortable, the keys worked, we used the refrigerator and the microwave, and had the TV on for a little bit. It was a good stay.

Liked: Staff was helpful and friendly. The location was close to attractions and parking was easy. Gas stations and food right next door. Walking distance attractions included a park and museum
Disliked: It was very obvious that our non-smoking room had once been a smoking room. There was a very noticeable odor every time we entered the room even after opening the window and leaving the bathroom fan on. Plus there was a used bar of soap in our room tucked behind the shampoo bottles. Many homeless people in the neighboring parking lots and sidewalks.

Liked: Location-close to where I needed to go and the price didn’t break the bank. Security cameras and staff made it feel safe and watched.
Disliked: The bed. A little hard for my 60+ hips. I slept on the little couch and rested better. I tried piling all the great pillows on the bed, but they slipped away.

Disliked: Despite being a great value... you really do get what you pay for. You can tell they likely recently remodeled, which appeared to look really nice. However, in our room, there was a huge spot behind the lamp that needed painted. All over the property, there are signs posted that it is a 100% smoke-free property yet as soon. As you enter the hall that takes you to your room. You are hit with an intense marijuana odor, and then in our room (130), it smells like cigarette smoke. The mattress was just ok. the pillows were awesome, though. Breakfast could use some help....it was the most basic plain breakfast...while I wouldn't say it was terrible....it was really just "ok". Next time, I would spend the extra $20 for the best Western next door.

Clean, Comfortable, Safe

Liked: Room was clean, comfortable and I felt safe. The breakfast was a little spare, but it was free. It was good enough to start my day with coffee, juice, muffins and yogurt.
