Friendly staff. Please put more...

Liked: The breakfast was okay. I was bummed that I could not take it back to my room to enjoy, as the eating area was loud and the surrounding area was dusty from construction. The staff was friendly.
Disliked: There was a lot of mold on the ceiling of the room (the main area; not the bathroom). There was only one roll of toilet paper supplied. $182 for two nights... I think I paid for two rolls of toilet paper. There were burn marks on the blanket.

Disliked: The staff was not helpful, I had to find the nearest store to buy cleaning supplies the room was nasty! Shower nasty!

Liked: Nothing at all, but I wasn’t there for long.
Disliked: It was run down, old and wasn’t even clean enough for a homeless person. It smelled horrible inside, the carpet was outdated and had spots all throughout it. The walls, picture frame and curtains were filthy. It’s giving me nightmares all over again. I left without even complaining or requesting my money back. I don’t know how anyone would accept staying a night in there. A homeless man came up to us asking us did we want to buy a crossbow that he was selling. However from what I observed it needs a lot of work. I really wish I had taken detailed pictures like I normally do when I visit hotels. I was just ready to go, I was livid. I think the lady at the front desk gave that room to me intentionally.

Disliked: Room service never came and very low lighting

Not the best, but not...

Liked: I like that it was of better value, for the reason for the trip. It was school related for my daughter, so we needed to be close for our am time frame.
Disliked: Staff that I came into contact with at breakfast was not nice.Front desk guy was great!

Disliked: Not clean, not enough towells & shampoo and before check out, employee was looking into our window to see if we were out...for them to go in and clean...(I assume)

Extremely unsafe! Run down and...

Liked: Nothing other than location to Winston-Salem Fair Grounds.
Disliked: First visit to Winston-Salem for a dog show at the fair grounds. Where shall we start? Broken door, unable to easily access room as door does not seal from top and therefore it takes brute strength to open the door. Lord help you if you were being pursued and needed to quickly and safely access your room. Tv does not work. Fridge does not seal so without my own bungee cord would not keep anything cold and dripped water on the floor. Bed was an old spring mattress but I guess that was the best part. Interior old and tired. Extremely unsafe conditions for a woman traveling alone. Tenants outside enjoying a toke of marijuana is sucked into your room through the a/c. Fine if you are a recreational user but for those who are not it is off putting. And then can we talk about the apparent drug users rambling through the parking lot. Oh and the police the first night with a guy on his knees, perhaps drugs, perhaps robbery attempt at the Dunkin Donuts? Either way the clientele this hotel caters to is not one I would ever recommend nor stay in again.
