Overall we were satisfied with our stay. We were told at check out we would receive a receipt via email and have not.
Liked: The room was comfy.
Disliked: Chemical smell.

There is a reason this...
Liked: The location is the only positive thing about this place if you need to stay near the NYS Fairgrounds
Disliked: The heater in our room was literally hanging off the wall. Clearly it was not working correctly as it was either freezing cold in our room or deathly hot .... there was no in between. We were in the area for an event at the NYS Fairgrounds and upon returning to the hotel we watched a man exit the hotel in his bare feet and walk around in the yard for a good 20 minutes in the snow, walking in circles. This hotel is scary. My son went to get a drink of water out of the bathroom sink in the middle of the night and started gagging as the water tastes like human feces.

Disliked: Communication.I have been attempting to reach the hotel about lost items from my stay but got no answer or reply. I will have to make an in person visit to inquire about the lost items.

Liked: The location was perfect for where I was going. Bed was comfortable, room good-sized. On first floor, which was good.
Disliked: No microwave in room. Bathroom needs an upgrade. Breakfast very weak.

It sucked all around
Liked: there was literally nothing good about the stay. the room was not cleaned between the first and second nights. the staff did not answer the phone when I called. The phone in the room was disconnected. there was NOTHING good about the stay.
Disliked: the staff was unresponsive. when I asked to get my room serviced after the first night, it took way too long for them to arrive. they told me that they assumed I did not want to have the room cleaned, but I was paying over $250 per night to stay at a run down hotel. For that kind of money, I wanted fresh towels and the bed made. The phone did not work and when the "manager" came to the room, he just said "oh well". When I called the hotel from my cell phone, it went straight to voice mail and never connected to where I could leave a message.
