We were just in town overnight. Just needed a place to sleep. Room was very clean and neat. Bed was very comfortable. Only complaint is that we were in room 115 which was directly across the hall from an entrance and we heard a lot of foot traffic through the night. Other than that it was a great stay.

Liked: It was close to the hospital where my Dad is.
Disliked: Property was in dire need of maintenance. If your only means to get upstairs is the use of stairs than they should not be falling apart.

Disliked: It was completely run down. There was obviously shady stuff going on on the property. This was not a place I could bring myself to stay in.

Not at all what I...

Liked: It was very clean, which I like. I was given a smaller room and told there was no difference in price because I booked it third party. I did not get my special requested extra pillow, (there was an area for that, my cancer causes me the need for 1 to align my spine) The shower did not drain and I had to wash the shampoo out of my hair in the bathroom sink!I called and informed them at midnight and it was too late to switch rooms. When I checked out I told him, adding that he would probably want to send maintenance before renting that room again. I took a picture of standing water at 9:30 am the NEXT morning still in the shower. He told me he would ok a partial refund for my issues but that I would have to go through Booking.com because that's who I did my reservation through.When calling Booking.com and explaining the situation, they contacted the property and no one had informed anyone of anything concerning my room, the shower, the refund ect not to even the general manager or so he said and would need more time to look into it.Very disappointing. I have Cancer and it was a little break and quiet time for myself. A hot shower curled up afterwards with a good book and snacks, well nope. Obviously that didn't happen and even after a call to the front desk, as well as a face to face conversation, the fact that nobody documented any of that is beyond unprofessional. I have a pretty strict budget and that was a treat for me to be able to do that and it was ruined and continues to be by waiting and waiting for anyone to address something that professionally should have been addressed immediately.I'm a pretty laid back person. I give people the benefit of the doubt, I'm respectful, I understand human error, life, ect but even for me It was heartbreaking. When you are sick anything that's special means a lot and really helps with self care and motivation, giving you some extra strength and a smile. I was really looking forward to a nice stay.
