Overall I was pleased with this hotel. Manager very efficient and caring to assist with my needs to get groceries. He went above and beyond to help.

Liked: Very efficient check in. Manager went out of his way to help me get groceries near by. The room had a funny smell. Carpets definitely need replacing. Bed very comfortable. quiet room at night. Breakfast disappointing. They had coffee brewing all day which I liked.
Disliked: Poor quality carpets; curtain rods broken. Breakfast sub standard. I feel the damage deposit should be included in total fees upfront; not after you arrive and they automatically take it off your card.

If I had been offered...

Liked: The breakfast could be improved if they added protein such as bacon and or sausage. The location was difficult to access from the main road due to excessive traffic.
Disliked: When I told the front desk that my toilet wouldn't flush; I was told to hold the flush handle. When I made the front desk aware that my iron was burnt, I wasn't offered a replacement nor given an apology. I was locked out of my room before checked out and when I checked out, I was told I couldn't get a receipt, nor could I be told what my credit card was charged because I booked through Bookings.com. There was a sour odor in the bathroom and there was obvious mold in the room due to the smell.

Disliked: Being told I have to use my chip card when there's a tap feature. Saying it's company policy yet there's nothing saying i can't tap my card anywhere. Even Hilton doesn't make you use your chip when you pay. You can tap your card or enter it in the machine if you want to.
