Disliked: The outside grounds were not kept up - weeds and cigarette butts; needed cleaning around edges.

We stayed at Days Inn Portland South on March 15th and attended the Big Daddy Weave concert. Excellent experience.

Liked: Pleasant staff; clean room; so enjoyable.

Liked: The bed was comfortable, the staff was helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast was good and I'm glad that there was free wifi! I had a great experience!

This is the best place...

Liked: I stay here a lot. Parking is great and safe, close to shopping and my doctor, everything in the room I need like fridge and micro. Never have any problems with wifi or tv. Breakfast in the morning is more than you can ask for.
Disliked: This is the first time my bed was over soft. Sunk down in it too deep. I dont know where smoke was coming from but I think someone was smoking out their window.

Excellent value, clean, safe and...

Liked: The room had newer furnishings, dark out drapes, comfortable beds, nice towels and an extremely acceptable breakfast.
Disliked: Located near a freeway there is some traffic noise but much less than expected.

Best value and close to...

Liked: Parking is always close and safe. Breakfast is normally great but a little salty this trip.
Disliked: It seemed like there were too many transient people eating in the restaurant and they kept running out of food.

Nothing special, too many homeless.

Liked: It looked fairly clean; also it was nice to have a fridge and microwave. Everything you would normally expect at a hotel. It wasn’t as loud as I thought it would be, being so close to the highway; but our window faced away from the busy road. Breakfast area was very clean, and friendly helpful staff. Food typical.
Disliked: There were too many homeless people. They were all around the hotel outside. Even sitting on the steps by the door asking for things. Made me feel very uncomfortable and I was nervous to leave my car in their parking lot, although the hotel staff ensured me that there were security cameras.

It was okay.

Liked: For the most part it was clean and it was in a great location.
Disliked: I did not like that we had to put in house keeping a day in advance. I’ve never heard of this from a hotel and it was super inconvenient. One day we put in a request the day before and they forgot about us the next day.
