Holiday stay at a quiet,...

Liked: Friendly staff, clean and quiet property, smallish property.
Disliked: I loved having waffles for breakfast but wished there a protein provided for breakfast (bacon, sausage, etc.). Flat screen TV was smallish.

Peaceful, Tranquil, and Quiet Sleep...

Liked: Quality Inn & Suites Capitola By the Sea was a very clean and orderly facility. There was a lot of oak trees with orange, yellow, and red leaves and manicured landscaping. Even though Highway 1 is just an easy walk away, it felt as if I was in a rural setting. I drove up to the area for a follow up doctor's visit. There is a grocery store called Nob Inn almost within walking distance which has a nice little buffet with TriTop meat and a wide selection of vegetable and a choice of rice and potato selections. Also, Nob Hill has a place to sit down and eat your nutritious choices of food. There are several regular and fast food restaurant around and a Trader Joe's off the next exit north.
Disliked: The only drawback is that the guy at the front desk when I arrived tried to explain to me how to make water come out of the shower. I didn't realize that it is necessary to pull the part under the faucet, not the shower head. He had trouble explaining in English to me how it worked. It was implied that is it necessary to pull down something from the shower head. In the final analise, I had to bend over to water myself down, leather myself, and continue to bend over under the bathtub faucet to rinse myself off. The breakfast just consisted of a bunch of empty calorie and sugary pastries and high sugar content yogurt. There was the option to make a waffle, but that didn't provide much nutrition either. They were kind of fluffy. Apples and bananas were included, but Quality Inn & Suites Capitola By the Sea doesn't provide any eggs with their so called breakfast. I was told that I could walk down the street to some little restaurant that served eggs and Ceviche, but all I desired was just one little egg, not scrambled, nor seasoned, nor spiced up. It could have been hard boiled.

Overall, the stay was fine....

Liked: The room was clean and comfortable. It served our purpose.
Disliked: The breakfast was very poor. We ended up going somewhere else to eat breakfast.
