Poor
Liked: There is No exercise room nor spa as posted the indoor pool had so much chlorine that it burned our eyes as well as made several other guests sick.

I'd stay again
Liked: It was comfortable and decent.. could have used pool towels since they don't give extra towels in the room. Suggestion: add another waffle maker.. would make quicker breakfast

Staff was great and as...
Liked: The staff was very friendly and accommodating
Disliked: The room had numerous issues, like broken items and stains, but none that affected our stay. The police were there 2 of 3 days of our stay also, which made it feel less safe than we would have liked.

Quality Inn met my needs...
Liked: Disability accessible met my needs and expectations. Location near UAB facilities. Hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly, kind, and helpful.
Disliked: Nothing!

Bad
Liked: Absolutely nothing. I was on the road for hours to get there. Talked with 'staff' several times and all was well, THEN I get there. The man at the desk called he was the only one there all day and denied that I had even talked with someone. I produced phone calls and names. He called me a liar and proceeded to cancel my reservation. He said I was not a good fit for the motel. I don't know what his problem was but he was very biased again me and certainly tried to make me feel like I was less than important at this motel. I will never book here again EVEN though my company will be in the area 8 days per month for the next 2 years or so.
Disliked: The attitude of the front desk staff was horrible! I found that 4 more families were turned away for the same exact reasons. I have stayed in many motels but never treated this way before. BUT, we found the motel up the road to be clean and friendly so we did okay but it sure wasn't fair what the Quality Inn staff did
