Quality Inn And Suites North/Polaris, Columbus

This was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. There was dirt, and trash in the stairwells; the rooms were old and the walls disgusting. Blood stain on the blanket on one of the beds and the linens were dirty. We paid $115 for one night - I have stayed at hotels for half that price that were nicer. We will NEVER stay here again - or at any of their hotels. For an extra $15 dollars we could have stayed at a full service hotel - LESSON LEARNED!

Quick check in, great breakfast...

Liked: Breakfast had many great options! Yogurt was empty by 9:40 Sunday, but to be expected after a busy weekend. Waffle makers are a big plus but maintenance man seemed to take it away before I was finished making my waffles around 9:55. Not complaining about that as I have worked in restaurants for 7 years and I know he wants to make sure people don't utilize breakfast after the 10am close. Bathroom and main room were very clean and had everything we needed. Staff seemed helpful with any questions and a quick check in/ check out!
Disliked: Our room was by the staircase and was very loud at certain times at night/ in the morning. Honestly wasn't too bad, but it did wake me up a few times. I am used to getting up for work at 7am, so it wasn't a huge deal to me and my girlfriend! Room didn't have tea, but had both selections of coffee and that was perfect for me.

Disappointing

Liked: The location was where we wanted.
Disliked: Breakfast on Saturday was disappointing. The egg offering was hard boiled. The waffles must have been good because a lot of people ate them. I am diabetic so waffles were out. They only provide housekeeping if you ask for it. That might be good for some but no us.

Liked: The staff was friendly and good location in relation to the venue we went to for concert
Disliked: The bedside table was sticky from someone else’s drinks and it was all over not just a small spot so I has to clean it off before we could place anything on it. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. No elevators and we had a lot of stuff we had to carry. Carpets were stained. The faucet in the bathroom was broken you couldn’t shut the water off properly had to slowly move the handle to find the correct placement to get the water to turn off.

Disliked: If any of yall are thinking about staying at the Quality inn and Suites Polaris in Columbus Ohio please save your time AND Money. Friday we checked in and I was content with the room until we found a cockroach. I was told by the front desk lady I would get a refund and asked for me to email the picture. I sent the picture and called to follow up on a refund today and the manager told me I lied about seeing a cockroach and that they had a professional come in and seen no cockroach between Friday night and Sunday. Then said we used the room so we don’t get a refund even though we got a different hotel after. Then proceeded to tell me the picture is not their bathroom. ZERO stars for them.
