Liked: Buffet meal was adequate at best
Disliked: The parking ! I've stayed here for 7 years, always with free parking. Its changed now , but wasn't obvious on arriving in the dark. Was informed by the desk at check-in that I needed to move the car or pay, so I went to do so and already had a ticket and the attendant just told me he'd give me another one if I didn't move it ! Was told there was a 10 minute grace period but this was NOT applied in my case. Have stayed at this hotel over 20 times but will look elsewhere now. As I travel for work I may have to stay again but it wont be through choice . I don't mind paying and would have done so , but object to being fined by stealth as I was . The night staff were sympathetic, the morning staff weren't not when I asked for any possible security camera views to confirm warden timing.

Disliked: The behavior of some of the staff was indecent, uneducated, and inconsiderate. There are only a few parking spots for hundreds of guests. When I asked where I can park, they told me across the street at the mall where I may get a fine because it’s illegal (and I’m assuming the parking company would send me an hourly charge later as well for 2 days which is quite expensive), or I could park across the street at the supermarket and if I tell the hotel I could pay by the day. They didn’t tell me I had to tell them before I parked there to be charged by the day so I was charged hourly for 2 days. Each employee provided different information and none of them provided adequate or accurate information. They said parking is not their responsibility and my asking them where to park is not their concern and that I should walk around outside and read signs. This was during a blizzard and as a foreigner! When I asked for a manager they said they don’t have a manager. Also, and less of a problem, the rooms are small, old, dirty, and nothing works well.

Hotel Panorama – what a...

Liked: Incredible views from the 17th floor, a bed that felt like a dream, and the yummy Panorama Toast for breakfast (worth the trip alone)! Super helpful reception! Parking is 180/day - remember to pay at the machine by the enterance to avoid extra EasyPark fees. Perfect hotel if you want peace but still be just 15 mins from the city!

Liked: - Very good breakfast buffet- Friendly staff- Warm drinks (Cappucchino , Latte, etc.) always for guest freebut....
Disliked: It's been a while since I had several negative points to mention...- When you stay in a hotel for several nights, you also expect the cleaning staff to clean the room or empty the trash cans...unfortunately that didn't happen once..- No Streamingportal (Netflix for example) was mentioned on the homepage from Booking.com when booking the room- Beds are - And the last Point what annoyed us the most - the parking problem, which has apparently often been noticed negatively here (if you read reviews) :Just the short version, even though it still upsets me. We arrived very late in the evening and it was dark and were not informed that there was a fee for parking. Apparently the reception is not obliged to tell the customer this and every Norwegian knows the laws regarding parking... that's what I was told... but what about the foreign guests who arrive in the dark, especially after a long journey, and don't understand Norwegian ?From my point of view, not the best hotel service and that cost us an additional 660 NOK, we got a ticket on our car the next morning but we found out that it works better with other hotels in Norway on our long journey back.
