Hotel Description
Visit a true manor house with unique architecture and built on historic ground offering a warm atmosphere with modern facilities. Centrally situated in rural surroundings all of the tastefully furnished rooms as well as the restaurant lobby and conference facilities were renovated between 2005 and 2008. According to the saga this is where St. Olav fought local opponents in a battle when converting the Vikings to Christianity in Norway in the year 1022.

A short intense wonderful staying...

Liked: The cozy atmosphere, the general vibe, the place, the availability and the value for money.
Disliked: That I did not have more time to stay there

Very nice hotel located next...

Liked: Very nice hotel located next to the bus station. Very convenient to visit Oslo without using your car and the associated city taxes

Easy access to motorway. Restaurant...

Liked: The breakfast was great!
Disliked: The bed was almost impossible to get into - it was squeezed in between the walls. No table/shelf by the bedside. Very impractical.

We will definitely chose to...

Liked: The room was much bigger than expected, very cozy and I loved the book shelves and the beautiful colorful chair The breakfast was absolutely amazing. I am a big breakfast person and I thoroughly enjoyed the wide variety.We’re on a camping holiday and treated ourselves to 2 night in the hotel. The washer and dryer was there fore a big bonus, and an iron!
Disliked: Nothing
