Liked: The rooms have been upgraded, clean, and comfortable.
Disliked: The other parts of the motel were worn and tired looking. The restaurant was permanently closed But there was no microwave in the rooms to heat a meal if you bought it from a supermarket.

Disliked: To many steps for older people.Staff never offered to help carry luggage.No sink or toaster for longer stays.

Liked: Rooms were clean, and tidy. And bathroom amenities were nice too.
Disliked: Had a very strong odour walking into the building. But the room didn’t smell

Liked: Location was where I needed it.
Disliked: Mattress had a sag like I’ve never seen before. Huge dip in the mattress. The place wasn’t very clean. My room was ready, but they wouldn’t let me check in early unless I paid extra, despite it being completely ready.

Did not meet my expectations...

Liked: Room was clean and tidy and the staff were helpful
Disliked: The add on Bookings.com said there would be a microwave, coffee maker and pay TV in my room. There was no microwave nor coffee maker, only an electric jug. Initially the TV only received free to air channels and no HD channels and the remote didn't work as the batteries kept falling out. I queried all this with the staff who apologised and said they never provide microwaves nor coffee machines, but did swap my TV for one with working channels, but no pay TV.The underground car park was fine but the door to the motel did not lock so entry was available for anyone in addition to guests. Not that good for security. The stairwell smelt and carrying my suitcase 2 floors to my room was not enjoyable. Im 68!Booking.com also mentioned a restaurant as did the directory in the room, however the restaurant shut 2 years prior so no food access available.Updated information on Boookings.com and in the room directory would be great. Had I known these issues I would not have booked here but somewhere that did have the facilities I required.
