Liked: Large room with comfortable bed. Staff were accommodating - first room I was allocated only had small windows opening onto an internal cement courtyard with a drain in the centre. It smelled like walking over a sewer grate in London. The front office person allowed me to move to a different room that was brighter and had no smell. Walk to the river across the road. Supermarket and restaurants nearby. Parking is in an open Council Lot over the road - reception provides a 24hr ticket to display on dash.
Disliked: Old building with building work / maintenance going on. Some areas are very run down (see comment above about first room offered - dark, dank and smelled of damp and drains). No lift to upper floor - think they might be putting one in during the renovations though. For such a large room, a kitchenette would be a useful addition - just a microwave and a few bowls and cutlery would be a great addition to the existing bar fridge, kettle etc.
