Ideal location but noisy rooms

Liked: The location was good for getting to restaurants etc. we asked for a quiet room in the top floor as we didn’t want the noise above us to keep us awake as in previous hotels. The reception staff were very accommodating dating and did this for us. However, it was on the 5th floor but next to the ice machine. I don’t recommend this room (523). Maybe turn the machine off at night. Also the fan in the bathroom doesn’t turn off so it was noisy all night also. Breakfast was not good. Tasteless egg and sausage. No fruit or cream with waffles. No orange or apple juice. Porridge oat packets but no instructions on how to make up. Paper plates ok but plastic and cardboard cutlery is awful. I’ve definately had better.

Liked: Staff were pleasant. Breakfast was yummy. Great location and quiet.
Disliked: We needed ice and there was only one ice maker which was out of order. We found that really frustrating.

Disliked: Room a little under par: fan uncontrollably loud, room temp hard to control.
