Liked: This is a terrific location for walking around this wonderful city. This property balances the "quaint but modern" vibe very well.
Disliked: Parking was pretty tight.

Liked: Location was good and the rooms are well equipped with mini bar and snacks.
Disliked: Buffet breakfast was very ordinary and the room dark. The rooms are scattered throughout 2 buildings and it is quite a maze of stairs and corridors to find your room.

Good location, large well equipped...

Liked: Good location for all the main amenities. Large room, well equipped.
Disliked: The room was designated as non-smoking, but someone who had stayed previously was a smoker…Expensive breakfast, better value from local cafes.

St Vincent's hospital - a...

Liked: The location to the Calvary St Vincent's hospital in Frederick Street was awesome. A 3 minute walk. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The saggy soft beds.

A very comfortable well appointed...

Liked: Easy to find, very central location, very friendly and helpful staff on check in and an excellent room - spacious and clean.
Disliked: No dinner available on the night we checked in, but we were provided with a list of nearby restaurants grouped by type which was very helpful.

Superb

Better than adequate, top location...

Liked: Location was excellent. The room was a bit dated, as were the pillows, but overall, comfortable. For a solo traveller it would be nice to have a recliner chair to watch TV from. Just an idea as The couch served no purpose. The room was quite stuffy and it would’ve been nice to have been able to open a secure window with fly wire, at night to sleep, tho’ I appreciate you can’t just change the balcony windows/doors cost efficiently. The staff were friendly and professional and I LOVED having the dogs around to pat.

Very disappointing

Liked: Needed to stay extra night due to TC Alfred as flight cancelled. Staff advised they could accommodate me. Great. Then when I checked out they charged me $100+ extra for the room ! Did not advise this would be the case. Pleaded my point but would not adjust the pricing the same as the other 2 nights. Very poor form. Never stay there again.

Very good

Liked: Well located, lovely staff, big room that was well kept.
Disliked: Our bathroom had a foul smell, part of which came from the toilet brush, which was replaced as soon as we asked. However, there was still a less strong foul smell remaining but I didn’t report it as we were leaving the next morning.
