Disliked: paid for a city view but didn't get one Room was hot couldn't work the air con

Liked: Location was excellent and beautiful art deco style throughout the motel were amazing. Great bar and restaurant downstairs. Staff at check in, breakfast and the lobby bar were very friendly.

Disliked: The service for the money was non existent The dinner service was in the bar and food cold as it came didn’t stairs from restaurant and took forever to come We couldn’t get into room till 3 either

Don’t waste your money on...

Liked: The art works, the gym, the location, the bed, the cocktails at the bar, the mini bar.
Disliked: The room too small, very poor housekeeping, they never did the room completely, they always left something dirty or didn’t replace all the towels. The toilet sit too small and no brush to clean it when it got dirty, the water never hot enough, no sound insulation, we had the TV on and room next door asked to turn it down, never had this happen to us in an expensive hotel, the room too cold and didn’t keep the heat for too long, heater had to be on all the time, very expensive room no value for money, reception always flat out, no time to answer the phone, they got my room wrong had to change my room after check-in. NOT GOOG ENOUGH.

Two night business trip

Liked: The proximity to the conference venue at Te Papa and just a stroll to Oriental Bay. Have always loved the decor of this hotel. Reception area has been refurbished since my last visit and looks great. I was fortunate to be able to check in early which was much appreciated-thank you so much.
Disliked: The pillows weren't the best quality.
