Overall a pretty good stay...

Liked: Property is great, well connected to Paris via the accessibility to rail transportation, the mall etc. The facilities are also pretty good in general.
Disliked: Some of the staff were not really tuned to customer service. Especially the gentleman in charge of the restaurant. There did not appear to be any attempt to understand the customer needs at all. It was his construct and his alone that mattered and if something did not align with that it could not be done. For instance, trying to order room service and getting to the restaurant and asking for assistance was met with please call this number. No offer to check on why one was at the restaurant asking about room service or he would have realized that there was no facility to access room service from within the room. Also had a not so great experience with the individual when asking to be served drinks at night.

Disliked: There was a sort of chemical smell in the room. I think it was due to drainage system. Windows cannot be opened so that smell never cleared. It may a terrible headache for first 4 days.

Disliked: Bathroom had a horrible smell, food is a stupid price, very little option for gluten free

It is becoming a tired...

Liked: The two restaurant meals we had were good but limited menu.HOWEVER I was not asked if I had allergies which I don't. I asked for vanilla ice cream for dessert this came in a tub and as I was eating there were hazelnuts in it.It was clean and quiet.The soundproofing of the windows was excellent which was reassuring as the view from the window included the demolition of a metal building opposite and an active rail track.
Disliked: The place, in the business area of the city, seemed understaffed and tired.The concierage had limited knowledge of trams, trains and metro.It is not a hotel we would like to go back to for the price we paidIt was badged five star but was nowhere near the standard we had received by other hotels in the past. We thought for that level there would be a swimming pool there was not.Our room had a bent wastepaper bin and lack of attention to detail. There were no biscuits or milk and part of the curtain had come of its runners.
