Great location, great staff however...

Liked: The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Hotel is in a great spot, centrally located to all the shops, bars and China town
Disliked: The bathroom floor was covered in hair including pubic hair, when I say covered I mean everywhere. The aircon only seemed to work during the day, at night even though the thermostat was set to 18c and the fan set to high the room was still hot because there was only a light warm breeze coming from the vent. Spoke with reception about it and I was told someone would look into it but I heard nothing back.

Second time with issues, not...

Liked: Facilities and room were clean and well appointed. Location was well positioned for everything.
Disliked: Arrived after check-in time, 2.00pm, and room was not ready. Sat in roof bar for half hour and had to return to reception to see if room was ready. When I questioned check-in time. I was told by an impertinent staff member that, "Check-in doesn't mean you get a room."

Perfect!

Liked: This boutique property is in the perfect Melbourne location. Close to amazing shopping, excellent food and transport - I was close to everything that I needed to make my stay perfect. The room had all the amenities - it was clean and comfortable. The customer service is amazing - very attentive - no question was left unanswered.

Great location just don’t get...

Liked: Location is excellent
Disliked: Had a connecting room door and caught hear EVERYTHING going on in the next room - coughing, talking, the sound of people throwing up.

Pleasant but slightly disappointing.

Liked: It was a good location. Room was clean Bed was comfortable
Disliked: - Room was not ready upon arrival, despite booking months in advance and filling in online booking form stating arrival time. - multiple requests to front desk for a firm/hard pillow were not addressed or completed. Was delivered a soft flimsy pillow in a dirty pillow case. Was very unimpressed to say the least. - shower needed to have more attention taken in cleaning as there was definite build up and dirt in places. - lighting placement ant switches were odd - windows frames were worn and needing attention. Had definitely seen better days. - Had to walk down hallway to collect water for drinking. Jug was quite small, Maybe offering more than one jug or refillable bottles? - We went up to the hotel bar but left very disappointed. There was no one to greet you when you walked in and we were very confused about seating and where to go. Ended up leaving the hotel and going else where for dinner and drinks. - Overall communication from staff was not great. I stay in multiple venues and usually staff take you through everything and inform you about the hotel. This hotel basically gives you a key and sends you on your way. Where has the human touch and interaction gone?
