Very Disappointing

Liked: We stayed here to be close to the convention centre for a work conference, so the location was good. The restaurant was closed but we could eat in the bar where the staff were friendly. Otherwise there are cafes and restaurants in the area outside.
Disliked: We were very disappointed in this hotel.The room was well below the standard that we expected for the price and for a Pullman hotel. The room facilities are very basic. No kettle. We asked for one, so we could make a cup of tea as we were staying 4 nights and the helpful person at reception did arrange one for us. However, we were given paper cups that were not changed at all during our stay and 2 tea bags. No milk or ongoing provisions when the room was serviced. The shower leaked so much that the bathroom floor flooded dangerously, and the bin in the bathroom was broken.The pool area was closed, which apparently is seasonal, but that means there is nowhere available outside that you can sit, even on a sunny day.Would not stay here again.

Disliked: Woken up at 8:15 by building work immediately above me. Why sell that room? Or give it to someone with an early checkout. Thoughtless.A/c is centrally controlled only down to 23.5 degrees. Impossible to make any cooler. Maintenance came at 1.30am but his solution was to switch it off. Brilliant. So if you want a cool quiet room, don’t stay here
