Jan, the owner, was extremely...

Liked: The Inn had a very homely feel to it, and just felt very cozy. The property is easily located and not far off from the main road through Portola.
Disliked: Beds were on the firmer side, and I would have preferred a soft bed.

We were on a trip...

Liked: The staff - Jean was very helpful and made our stay pleasant. We were on a business trip so had to leave before having breakfast but it looked very good and other guests seemed to enjoy the breakfast.
