A lovely stay, we felt...

Liked: A warm welcome and a comfortable, spotlessly clean room with comfortable beds. The breakfast was fabulous, cooked to order and nothing was too much trouble for the staff .There was a better choice than in the enormous chain hotel we had stayed in the night before. The location was perfect, central village position overlooking the delightful village square . We would definitely stay again.

Liked: No hassle friendly check in and out, breakfast amazing quality , perfectly cooked and tasty local produce. Room overall delightful and well equipped though suggest changing the mattress for more support.

Liked: Perfectly located in the centre of the village with restaurants, bars and pubs all within easy reach. Staff and locals very friendly. You don’t need a car but if you want to explore the area, it might be a good idea. We relied on taxis which was a bit expensive.

Lovely stay in the heart...

Liked: We had a nice stay in this lovely hotel right in the heart of Cartmel, it’s an excellent location with the racecourse parking a 3 minute walk away. Spacious rooms with nice bathrooms, the owners and all the staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were top quality, overall an excellent stay and would recommend.
