While our bed were lovely,...

Liked: The room was wonderful, and it's a beautiful property. Our problem was we were staying with some people on the same floor who thought it was ok to drop candy wrappers in the hallway, which made place feel filthy. A wine glass not picked up for 12 hours created a similar feeling of too few people on the housekeeping staff. While this must have been a glorious property once, it's slipping, and the housekeeping department is responsible. Furthermore, it costs the hotel nothing to put bottled water in each room - even a small bottle - and the value and appreciation goes a long way.
Disliked: The impression of roadside dirt in the hallways.
