Liked: Beautiful period hotel. The offer of a sherry on arrival. Very clean. Comfortable. Good location at the top of the high street. Super lovely staff. Great breakfast. Very homely. Well priced compared to other nearby hotels

Prince Rupert experience

Liked: Loved the location, close to everything we needed and the helpful, cheery staff were excellent.
Disliked: Although we had everything we needed, I feel an update and refurbishment is needed.

Great place to stop whilst...

Liked: Excellent location in centre of Shrewsbury. Good breakfast to start the day with friendly staff to help with any additional knowledge required of the area.
Disliked: Creaking floor boards in room but expected with the age of property.

Very pleasant. I would stay...

Liked: Great location off Castle Street, near the station and many shops in a beautiful old part of town. Lovely view of a church from one window in my room and a narrow old street from the other. Very comfortable bed. No excessive noise from outside, even on a Saturday night, despite being near nightlife.
Disliked: Some of the furnishings were a little 'tired' eg the arms of chairs in the restaurant, and the very chipped desk in my room
