With its landscaped grounds and Victorian features the Prince Of Wales Hotel is a 10-minute walk to Southport Train Station and to the beach. Wi-Fi is free in public areas. On Lord Street the hotel is a 5-minute drive from Hesketh Park and Southport Pier. Splashworld the popular water park is about a quarter mile from the Prince Of Wales. All bedrooms have a bathroom with a bathtub and a shower. Guests also have a TV suit press tea/coffee making facilities in each room while some rooms have a spa bathtub. The Colonial Restaurant serves traditional British dishes and the Clubhouse Bar has a golf theme. A full English breakfast is served every morning. The hotel has ramped access to its side entrance with lift access to all floors and some disabled access rooms available. Ramped access to the restaurant is possible with level access to the bar.

Pleasant stay will use this...

Liked: Nice clean pleasant hotel, room was warm and good size , very modern bathroom ,
Disliked: The only thing was the room was not serviced, but saying that you were able to collect extra tea/coffee etc from the reception

Liked: Shout out to lovely night reception staff who opened up the downstairs ballroom for a quick look. Spectacular! Really nice - many thanks
Disliked: Can't open windows in 137 - bit stuffy,bed quite hard but small quibbles really.

Liked: Lovely spacious room
Disliked: Despite notififing the hotel my wife was blind, they put usinaroom where we had to pass a staircase that juts out taking up a quarter of the hallway, no railings., very dangerous.

Perfect hotel for location and...

Liked: The hotel is perfectly located and the rooms are spacious, modern, warm and comfortableA staff member on reception, Kobe, went over and above when I came to realise I'd only booked one night instead of 2 and he took the stress out of the whole situation and sorted another nights stay in the same room. A lovely young man and an asset to the hotel team.
Disliked: Nothing it was great
