Featuring elegant, Victorian-style rooms and a contemporary spa, this luxury hotel is just 2 blocks from Lake Ontario. The on-site restaurant holds a traditional English tea time every day. The property is a combination of five separate buildings each with guest rooms. While not connected to the main hotel, they are all within a short walk. Noble, the on-site restaurant, combines French traditions with fine local ingredients and wines from around the world. Churchill Lounge, in the library, provides a more casual dining experience. Excellent accomodatins that we would...

Liked: room comfort and amenities were excellent. Location was very convenient.
Disliked: Dining facilities in the hotel all offered high end menus. There was no option for quick , "fast" food.

Liked: Stayed in March 2025. The rate on booking.com for our room type was quite a bit lower than the rate on the Prince of Wales website, even considering the USD to CAD currency difference. Some communications from the hotel shortly after booking made me think that the frowned upon the reservations from booking.com, so I set expectations on the lower side (ex: room in the basement). The hotel and staff exceeded every expectation. The hotel itself is a grand, historic property yet updated and comfortable. The room we booked matched exactly to the online description. We were celebrating a birthday and there was a complimentary bottle of wine in the room when we arrived. Every night there was turn down service and a single stem rose left on the bed. We enjoyed a couple of evenings at the Churchill Lounge, including the entertainment on Friday and Sunday evening. The property is in the heart of the NOTL strip and offers free parking to guests. The bed was comfortable with strong water pressure in the shower. Every interaction with staff was delightful. I would return to the Prince of Wales for another NOTL stay without hesitation.
Disliked: Housekeeping replaced the towels we had hung back up every day with fresh towels. This is not an environmentally friendly practice.

Liked: It was amazing, the hotel was clean and has very nice floral scent from the fresh flowers. Location is perfect and free parking.

Liked: Top notch exceptional hotel. Everything was absolutely perfect, gorgeous hotel and staff was all amazing. They all went above and beyond We will definitely be back and would highly recommend. Total class all the way round.
