Very overpriced for what you...
Liked: The location is great
Disliked: The elevator didnt work which was a problem for us since we traveled with a pram. There was no hot water on a sink. They tried to fix it but didnt. It is VERY noisy!! Its like sleeping on a highway. Soundproof walls like advertised is a joke. We heard everything from other rooms.

Excellent location and wonderful staff
Liked: Excellent location in Barcelona. It felt safe as a solo traveler and I loved that there was great restaurants within walking distance.
Disliked: Not a big deal but for the price of a private room I would have liked better quality towels.

Passable
Liked: Staff was pleasant, location was central and convenient, and the place was clean and safe. Plenty of hot water in the showers. Surprisingly no traffic noise from the really loud streets around there. (I couldn't wait to leave Barcelona because of all the city noise. Went to Sitges just down the coast and it was wonderful.)
Disliked: The pillows were awful, dorms were more cramped than I expected, loud construction noise started in at about 8 a.m., and there was a different old man snoring every night like loggers at a sawmill. Didn't feel like a hostel so much as a communal hotel for families. The "vibe" just wasn't any fun. I wasn't looking for a party hostel, but nobody seemed to be having a good time. Everybody seemed ready to leave.
