Overall I enjoyed my stay....

Liked: It’s a great location. Walking distance to everything. Also availability for the Miami trolleys. Free buffet breakfast. And the food was good. Complimentary drink as well.
Disliked: The rooms are smaller than I expected. For some reason our windows would t allow us to open up the curtains so not enough sunshine.

Liked: Once we figured exactly where we were, its a very central location to everything ( well- everything we found ) Theres probably plenty we missed.

Liked: The room we got for the second night was really amazing.
Disliked: My wife and I recently stayed at President Villa and had a very disappointing experience. Despite receiving multiple confirmations for our reservation of a Suite with a terrace, we were given an old, poor-standard room upon arrival. This reservation was for two nights and was paid for in advance.When we checked in, the man at the front desk seemed bothered while looking for our reservation, but handed us our room keys without informing us about any changes. Imagine our surprise when we entered the room and discovered the downgrade. Naturally, we confronted the front desk immediately. The staff member claimed that no suites were available and suggested we speak with someone the next day. Given that this was a two-night stay, we felt we had no time to deal with such issues.On the second afternoon, we were finally moved to a suite with a terrace, which was the room we initially expected and paid for. That suite was amazing. For all the trouble, we were credited only $33, which represented one day's resort fee.Overall, the lack of communication from the front desk and the inadequate compensation left us very dissatisfied with our stay at President Villa
