Liked: The breakfast was pretty good. Pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon fruit two kinds of yogurt, muffins and bagels and so much more.

Very sad experience.

Disliked: We are very unhappy with this hotel. We had reserved for two nights, but my husband became very ill and we needed to leave a night early. He was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia. The hotel told me I needed to contact booking.com to adjust the charges. Booking.com contacted your hotel and the agent was told by the hotel they would not refund the second night’s charges. This is disgraceful and unforgivable; the staff was totally unkind and dispassionate.

Not the newest place, but...

Liked: Excellent location if you want to visit Abraham Lincoln’s house and Presidential Museum. It’s a 40-or-so minute walk from Lincoln’s Tomb. I took an Uber there but walked back. Room was spacious and comfortable. Evening meal in the restaurant was delicious. Alex at Reception gave me a complimentary breakfast voucher after being unable to assist with an issue prior to check-in. Excellent customer service, that. I’ve read comments about crime in the area. I saw no signs of it. Felt perfectly safe at all times.
Disliked: No grocery stores around. Hotel mini-mart was ok. Luckily I walked past a supermarket on the way back from Lincoln’s Tomb. Pool was closed for maintenance. Little bit pricey, I thought.
