Liked: Nice hotel. Nice bar area and good location. Couple of nice staff members were very kind when I was checking in. They could see I was upset after being treated poorly by management. Check in staff were very nice and negative comments not their fault
Disliked: Rude management refused to allow change to booking from 2 nights to 1. Contacted them 4 days in a row leading up to the stay to change it but never responded. Booked through Booking.com and they were very helpful but said the hotel wouldn’t respond and I experienced the same issue. The “no show” fee was one night cost, so I offered to pay one night but she refused. Offered to pay a higher cost for one night instead of 2 (as I was told it would have been more expensive just booking 1) but wouldn’t entertain it. Treated very poorly by this person when checking in. Took over an hour to get checked in and was very upsetting. Appreciate there was a 5 day cancellation window. Didn’t realize until trying to cancel 4 days out (assuming it was 24/48 hours). For a huge hotel chain, don’t understand why they couldn’t have assisted with 4 days notice to amend the reservation from 2 days to 1. Would have been cheaper to pay the one night “no show fee” and go stay somewhere else for one night.

Liked: One of the nicest hotels we stayed at. Beautiful room and lobby, friendly staff. Excellent location right in Springfield city center.
Disliked: You need to pay for parking separately
